Onion Jam

4-ingredient Onion Jam in 20 minutes.


Ingredients: 

  • 2 large onions, sliced

  • 2-3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar

  • A pinch of salt


Method: 

1. Heat a large pan, add olive oil and sauté the sliced onions with a pinch of salt for about 10 minutes - till onions turn soft and light brown. 

2. Add the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar - continue cooking till you have a thick, chunky jam-like mixture.
3. Let onion jam cool before storing it in a glass jar (lasts for about a week refrigerated).
