Croissant Bread Pudding

Ending the weekend making croissant bread pudding using an assortment of leftover croissants. Super easy any time treat!


Ingredients: 

  • 4 regular sized croissants (we had a mix of sugar coated and chocolate ones)

  • 5 eggs

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 200ml cream (whipping cream)

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • Salted butter, some melted to coat your baking dish, a few small knobs to top the croissants before it goes into the oven.


Method:

1. Follow instructions as per reel 

2. Into a pre-heated oven (190-200C) baked for 30 minutes or till golden brown.

Serve with your favourites - a simple vanilla sauce, whipped cream with berries, maple syrup, fruit preserves or just have it on its own!
