Braised Minced Meat with Potatoes

How to make it
Ingredients:
600g minced pork shoulder
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large potato, cubed small
3-4 tbsp of oyster sauce
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp corn flour
Salt & pepper
Method:
1. In a pot, sauté the chopped onions (with a sprinkling of salt) in some olive oil til soft. Add the minced pork and cook till brown.
2. Then stir in the oyster sauce and dark soy sauce. Throw in the potatoes. Mix well and add a cup of water.
3. Let it simmer for 15 - 20 mins (or till potatoes are cooked). Season to taste (or add more oyster sauce, if needed).
4. In a small bowl, dilute the corn flour with some cold water and add it to the dish (this is to thicken the sauce).
I serve this tasty braised minced meat with potatoes over rice and sliced You Tiao (Yau Char Kwai)
